I agree. They also make every message longer, and filled with unnecessary junk. Also, the pictures are often very distracting/annoying.

Best without, I say.

Haven't heard anything yet. Don't see why you think it's started.

Chances are sometime soon they'll probably do a cleanup of all the pointless waste-of-space topics, and leave us with one, maybe two useful ones.

Thats what it says somewhere, I think, but I still wonder why there is a Mac Bug topic already created, and some mac hardware in the application. (Look under sound, there's generic PowerPC sound.)

They probably wouldn't mind people saying if they were testers or not, but they would get rather annoyed at people leaking screenshots or anything else, probably.

Yeah, if someone isn't smart enough to read the text on a website, I don't think we want them decreasing our chances of getting in the beta.

Ambrosia is just a publisher. Nova is mainly to be accredited to the aussie ATMOS guys. As is Uplink to Introversion. Often, publishers take more credit and recognition than the real brains and laborers behind the work. Just to make it clear, ATMOS did the story and graphics for Nova. The entire en...

Most everyone here has probably signed up for the test. Anyone who liked Uplink will probably sign up because Uplink was so good, chances are Darwinia will be awesome as well. That probably takes care of a lot of the Uplink board users. Then you add on all the other ones as well. There will be a lot...

Interesting. Certainly makes it much easier for things to get fixed if people will use that.

There's really no reason for this to degenerate into a mac vs pc war. Some people prefer one computer over the other. It really doesn't matter.

All I'm wondering is if they are taking mac beta tester submissions at this time.

The mac bugs topic raises the question of whether there is already a version for mac being developed concurrently or not.

If so, the submission page really needs some changes.

out of curiosity, is this going to remain a PC only download version, or will there be an opportunity for those of us using other platforms to play flashlink as well?

Since you are using flash, it should be simple to export it to a different platform.
