Just a question, why DOES the Uplink map screen take up so much resources? I don't expect this game to be as bad though, since developing a 3D game shows you that you have to do things optimised to get it to run well, and news of a new graphics engine is good, as it means they hacn't recycled uplink...

Whats wrong with Steam? Seriously, I hate it when all people do is complain about software which is not only useful, but exposes companies like introversion to huge crowds, to get thier games known. Well, is there any uniqueness about each of the copies? Order number? Anything? If there was, that could be used in some way to regester it with steam. Otherwise, I don't really see a way.
