Ok, you make good points, and I agree. But 95% of people wanting to create something may find it too much of a steep learning curve. Do you have the disassembly of the redshirt2 code as it is in the darwinia.exe? I might be able to make an inline patch so that we wouldn`t need to deredshirt at all, ...

A readme.txt with common problems and fixes, some indication of what sound, video hardware works best. Command line switches for safe mode, video, sound and debug mode for mod makers. The game should also start up for the first time with the same resolution/refresh rate as your desktop. When I first...

The way I see it, scripting is very powerful if the game has been written with them in mind from the start. With Max Payne you had access to every bit of the game engine and then some. The KungFu mod changed the original game into a totally new experience with new gameplay, physics, ai, and provided...

I`m going to HMV then Monday morning, have to catch two trains to get there though. Looks like only the really big stores are stocking it ala Virgin and HMV at release time. Shame there isn`t either store within 15 miles from me.

My feet are sore, I`ve walked up and down all day looking for somewhere to get it. Dixons had never heard of it, Choices neither. And my usually very good local pc shop Computers Plus as well. (bought my first pc there, a Commodore VIC-20 3.5k with Rat Race and Jupiter Lander), they looked it up for...
