Re: why the different guard types are under utilized
Armed guards are generally a more heavy-handed approach to keeping a prison under control and dogs are too busy checking inmates and anywhere contraband can be hidden for much else.

Re: What cool features would you like to see in V1
That said, the instant building would make things too easy. Prisoner escaping? Wall 'im in! Riot breaking out? Walls! It's like the guard hiring. I find it useful in saving Protected inmates, but it also feels too easy.

Re: Escape Mode
I wonder if it'll let you do that in your own prison without failing due to criminal negligence. I guess not. It would, however, be OP anyway; you'd know where everything is, where the patrols run, where the exits are, everything.

Re: How tough are gangs?
I haven't even gotten a legendary in my own prisons. I think I would have to hope that he doesn't have stoical AND fearless as reputations. If he did, I would be doomed. If not, my armed guard who patrols the Death Row block just next to the Supermax block would help suppress him.

Re: Excessive tunneling
Yeah, just make sure they can't steal and stash tools. Wooden picks will be easier to stash because they're undetectable. If you find a tunneling inmate (his sleep need will go up), search his toilet and that of other inmates in the vicinity; there might be more to the tunnel than one guy.

Re: How tough are gangs?
I think they become a problem when they get a leader. Otherwise, they can't make plays or anything like that. The fact that a gang is ferociously loyal to their leader also makes a problem, especially if he gets punished or killed.

Also, guard brutality is a thing. Don't intervene when cop killers act up; let the guards suppress him.

Re: Modern Day Nuclear Scenario
If the game was realistic NA and RU would have a huge advantage over the other territories. There are some unbalanced parts of the game, such as southern advantage, but it is certainly more fair then it would be if it was realistic. TEXAS That and there would only be a few countries with nukes. And...

You receive the extra money upon prisoner intake. The daily grant for every prisoner is $150, regardless.

Re: (Suggestion) more upgrades for staff
Yeah, I think it would also be interesting to see a course to help guards calm a jumping or shouting prisoner before they kick off. That said, there would have to be something to balance it all out.

What is the layout? Can you send a staff member there manually? Are the doors locked shut?
