It's most useful to assign to a cellblock you're still building. You can then put in doors without troubles. Do make sure you assign it anything but green BEFORE you assign roomtype 'cell' to the cells though!

Having transport options per prisoner or at least per section would be nice. Some prisoners should be able to escape such escorts though, and severly handcuffed transport won't make a prisoner happy. There has to be some disadvantage to setting transport to anything but the current 'normal handcuffs...

That wouldn't really work since you're manipulating schedules based on time, which is independent from section. You have to somehow schedule all you need in the same/one timeline as you only have one pool of guards. The max. of timeslots that would be useful is 24 (would need use letters after 1..9)...

This made me thinks about the different doors in game. Should guards EVER open een staffdoor for any prisoner? What if they only do that for jaildoors and leave staffdoors purely for staff? (prisoners sneaking through because another staffer opened a door is an ok risk, although guards should notice...

Ah yes.. lots of pans in Storage indeed, thanks for that tip! Have dump them all, food was overdue probably :)

Also noticed that if change the time of an active 'Eat' period in regime, the kitchens don't seem to act on it. The prisoners do though, so they're expecting food that isn't yet there :)

Alpha28, logistics screen correctly shows prisoners assign to one of five canteens. Canteens are served/connected to three fairly big kitchens. It also predicts the required amount of meals ok. There is a 'dinner is served' mod which does the dinner in cells thing. The problem if you will with a proper supermax (secu-max) setup is that it is boring. It seems food IS being prepared in the kitchen but on logistics screen it says 'supply: 0 (+0)'. The game doesn't seem to understand the kitchen is cooking food? Perhaps de-zone and re-zone the kitchen ?

PA might slow a bit when it's auto-saving.

To get staff member to move anywhere, click on staff-member then right-click on the ground/location they should go to.

I never used the back-to-back serving table layout. It looks useful, but try it with it a single servering table in canteen? Just to see if somehow they can't place food on the back-to-back ones.

that should not happen. Were the canteens zoned as canteen (missed that once myself ;-)) and reachable by target prisoner group?
