Electric fences are a great idea. Not lethal, but dangerous enough to deter some prisoners, and injure the rest.

Regular fences should be easier to get across, through, or below.

There seems to be a difference between doors' toughness.

Prisoners can break the cheapest doors.

Workshop prisoners can make beds. They should also be able to make chairs, benches, desks, and other furniture needed around the prison.

Possibly, there can be more wear and tear for prison furniture, even without deliberate destruction.

Trickster: Invisible reputation, which shows up as some other reputation.
Activist: Can organize strikes and sit-ins, if conditions are poor.
Enforcer: Seeks out snitches and ex-cops directly. For balance, other prisoners can be less motivated to do so.

Agree on chief, not warden.

As the warden no longer attends parole hearings, there is no reason to give him more keys.

There are already weight machines, that can be placed in more or less any room. Agree that staff should be able to use machines, though. There should also be more kinds of exercise, such as ball games.

Prisoners should be able to do outdoor maintenance, if assigned to a Garden Shed room.

The game should add a significant economic cost of removing a corpse, if there is no morgue, where an autopsy can be done.
