Nice find balfro! I too am excited for gangs. I think A25 is setting up a nice foundation for future gang implementation, what with reputations and all.

I disagree with all the OP's points. Being able to accept different types of prisoners is great- you're suggestion is just gamey. I like having all the categories. Merging min security and protective custody? That makes no sense and its better to have them separate- you can customize your prison muc...

Question about Failure Conditions

How do they work? Is there a set limit of total deaths/escapes you are allowed before you get sacked? This would make it hard over a long-life prison.

Or is it the number of deaths/escapes in a certain time-period (like in a day)?

I am loving A25. I have a few psychopath inmates who have just torn my prison apart. You definitely need to be prepared now when going from Med Sec inmates to Max Sec. I am going to need to start a new prison to better strategize for it :) I had one inmate (I think he was legendary) who got his hand...

I'm not fully sure what you are asking, but here's my best.

To link the monitors to the cameras, select the monitor. There will be an option to then link it to a camera ( the cursor will have a blue line attached to it). Link to the camera be clicking on the camera.

I have had the same problem. But now I've started a new prison, and it is nice and spread out. Looks way, way better than my previous prisons.

I'm playing on medium map- you can expand multiple times in each direction- quite far overall.

I think that is a good idea. I already use a home rule where I only place staff at my prison entrance (except for warden, accountant, etc).

It would indeed be good to have gangs implemented in PA to resemble those in real life. But prison gangs largely are extensions of street gangs; they deal in drugs, receive funds from street gangs via inmate personal accounts, and yards (and cafeterias) are strictly divided among gangs by turf.
