Parole system too simplistic; my proposed solution

In light of the simplicity of the current parole system (just set it somewhere less than 23% and you’re good), I have a proposal that I will think make the system more interactive, realistic, and strategic, and will also reach a compromise between those that want a “top down” approach like it is now...

Re: Parole Bonus and Penalties

I really love the new parole system, but am not sure if the new 3k bonus to 10k fine is the best way to go. As of now, having anything more than a 23% reoffense chance release bar will result in a net loss for your prison. For example, if you set it at 50%, you will see see an average loss of 7000 ...

Re: Parole Bonus and Penalties

Those calculations floating around for a break-even point are based on the assumption that all prisoners released have exactly that limit as chance which is certainly not the case. Very good point, and you're right. But the 23% rate, as opposed to being a break-even point, remains the threshold by ...

Re: Superior Beds are underpowered.

Yeah I agree with the OP. As of right now, it is more efficient to have inmates focus on making planks, as the net value of creating a superior bed (when factoring in materials, labor time, and transport time) is negative.

Re: doctors have gotta be the biggest trolls in the game so

Yeah, the medical system doesn't seem finished yet. Injured inmates often never go to the medical ward, and, as you noted, if they do the medical ward ends up a warzone. Plus, dead bodies aren't yet sent to the morgue properly.

I don't think CIs tell you about tunnels.

Re: [Suggestion] Intake Center/Processing Area (New Room)

I back this wholeheartedly. It would be good to be able to get a summary of a prisoner's experiences upon release too.

Yeah its pretty unbalanced right now. There definitely need to be some tweaks to the reputation system. As it is right now, every day is a bloodbath.

Re: No benefits for Minimum Security ?

I see, so basically you dismiss a feedback because you can abuse the game at this current stage? Well done, I'm sure this give many insights to the devs'. Yup, I am pretty much sure that I am free to do whatever I want with game as long as it does not violate legal law IRL. And I highly doubt that ...

Just get yourself min-sec only and assign them to max-sec upon arrival.

Less risk+money from high risk group - abusing the game to the max.

Because that is super gamey.

No, I was not clear in that, sorry. Normal guard do NOT have guns (though there are mods that give them guns).

I was referring to the Armed Guards.

Ah, I see. I was about to start utilizing free fire a whole lot more!

Re: [suggestion] Revival of two old Deployment enhancing ide

Mixed security was suggested twice this week only. Whelp, yeah. But to my mind it doesn't reach it's full potential as a concept until you can neatly divide zones up, otherwise it's nothing but headaches with prisoners getting trapped out of vital facilities because they can't walk through a cell b...

Re: No benefits for Minimum Security ?

I hear what you are saying, but I am guessing that if you were to examine the statistics on prisoner escapes, you would be far more likely to see escape attempts made by prisoners with longer sentences. Put another way, I would strongly suspect that there is a positive correlation between sentence l...
