Re: [Suggestion] After watching the Alpha 33 Video...

In England, a lot of our cells that were designed for single occupancy have had extra beds put in, because the prison system cannot afford the extra cost of building more cells. It is known to be neither ideal for the prisoners (because they lack privacy) nor the officers (as there are increased inc...

Re: Alpha 33 Cell relocating feedback.

The cell allocation system based on quality, could still be used per security category though. Yes and the game should be fixed to facilitate this. What quality of life a prisoner feels within his own cell has nothing to do with how securely he needs to be contained within the prison estate. For ex...

Re: [suggestion] Prisoners pee before leaving cell

Well I had taken to putting toilets in classrooms and workshops too, but then any random prisoner who wanted a toilet started going in and using them, and requiring a guard to come and open the door. It was quite disruptive,

Re: Alpha 33 Cell relocating feedback.

Actually I don't think in real life the security categories are connected with the in-prison privileges. Security rating is to do with how likely the prisoner is to try to escape, and how dangerous he would be to the public if he did. So the prison structure and regime is all about how strongly the ...

Re: Alpha 33 Cell relocating feedback.

Well that surely has to be an unintended bug if the game is ignoring prisoner categories. I was actually thinking of making more use of the ability to swap prisoners between categories now, and simply give my low security prisoners the best cells, as last time I played, the low security prisoners we...

Re: IV, please tell janitors they are staff too!(Laundry iss

Yes but up until this release they used to be able to leave the building or go to the staff room. Now they just stand by the door looking desolate day and night until it's time for classes again,

Oh I wonder if that's related to my teachers apparently being unable to cross an area marked "Staff only"?

Re: [Suggestion] shower regime = make prisoner shower inside

Never put "shower" in the regime unless you have dedicated shower rooms. "Shower" in the regime means the guards send everyone off to the showers - it's not permission, it's requirement. Instead try giving them "free time" and they should shower if they want to. Mine j...

Do we have to do something like hooking up the cell with the kitchen in logistics mode?

Are you sure you have the correct security level painted under the servery in deployment mode, not one that excludes max security?

Even better if therapeutic programs didn't have to be scheduled in work time!

Re: [BUG] constant fatal error / visual c++ errors

I started a new game with Banished and so far I have not had it. No one over there seems to have any advice so I am completely baffled. And yeah I have a feeling mine was happening around autosave time too.

Re: [BUG] constant fatal error / visual c++ errors

It would help if you said what the fatal error said, not just vaguely "something about..." The reason I am interested is I am getting a C++ steam error playing Banished through Steam, it just started a couple of days ago. I wonder if it's a Steam problem rather than our actual games. Is it...
