Re: Alpha 34 Tunnelling

Pogmothoin, I am happy to accept that logic for my long-term medium and max sec prisoners, but my low-sec *would* be getting out soon if they simply enjoyed the huge amount of regime freedom and trust I give them and tunnelled LESS often than the ones who have a reason to escape! Until the game gets...

Re: Alpha 34 Tunnelling

Has anyone made a mod to disable tunnelling? I find this particular part of the game overdone and is getting a bit tedious. I feel sure it's not that easy to tunnel in a real prison.

I started a suggestion ticket for it http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=9370

Re: Changing prisoners' categories.

I've never found min sec the least trouble - they tunnel more than any other, and it's actually quite tedious to play when you're spending most of your time searching toilets

Re: Changing prisoners' categories.

I just wanted my intake to be all Medium security (orange) prisoners, then use the categories to assign them to different cell blocks, cos I find the orange ones to be the least troublesome. Though I wouldn't have to do this if the facility allocation (like allocating canteen to cell blocks) was ext...

Re: Work vs. Programs vs. Free Time

With the new shop system, there is more incentive for prisoners to work than before, so as to get money. This was stated in the update video.

Re: Old prison vs. Cell Grading

In a real prison if they found they only had a fixed number of enhanced and basic cells, I feel sure they'd simply adjust the bar so that only the top x many good behavers qualified for enhanced and the x many bad behavers qualified for basic? No? But it's easier in real prisons, mostly its done by ...

Changing prisoners' categories.

Does anything particular happen if you change the category of a prisoner other than that he now belongs in a different cell block with a different regime? Would it change his behaviour in anyway, make him more likely to tunnel, or kick off etc?

Re: I am a little confused by the shopping time.

You'd have to have non-matching work regimes for two categories of prisoner, so that it was not possible for one prisoner to work all the hours the shop is open.

Re: Alpha 34 - Shops

I still think non-workers should not be considered as having free time. I am pretty sure no real prison operates that way. Or at least, it's free time in cell, not getting up to any old thing.

Re: Rearrrange furniture

Yes, it's less efficient to dismantle and reassemble because you typically get one worker to dismantle, then another one later to move to storage, then another to bring one out of storage, and a fourth to reassemble. If any small item that could actually be moved by one person was allowed to be move...

Re: Cell grading

I feel sure it's counterintuitive to have nice cells causing good behaviour only *after* being given a good cell. I'd like a way to be found for the very existence of good cells to incentivise some prisoners to behave well and get one. A bit like with the new shop - apparently they managed to make i...

Re: [Suggestion] Planning move, rotate, copy, cut shortcuts

What would be really good is if we could draw something in a paint program or draw on paper and scan it, and that could be superimposed on our game terrain so we can trace over it with our building plans. Need a way to stretch or shrink the image to fit of course
