Re: [Suggestion] Connect all servos in foundation option
Been looking through some of my older stuff and still think this would cut down on a lot of micromanagement if you could connect a whole cell block at once to a door control.

Re: [Suggestion] Sprinkler system needs own dedicated pipeli
The sprinkler head itself may be overhead, but there's no reason it can't be fed from a larger main that is buried. Pipes will carry water in any direction you want so long as the water pressure is sufficient to overcome gravity.

Re: [Suggestion] Planning mode
I really wish planning mode extended to designing the room / area in its entirety, specific placed objects, utilities and all. After your planning is done, you hit go, and your minions proceed to construct according to plan. Right now, you're basically building the prison twice.

Re: Alpha 26b... *shakes head*
So the latest build Alpha 26b... where do I start? I'm going to be blunt. It's s**t. The game has so many issues now it's getting beyond a joke but I'm sure they're too busy implementing 'new features' that will mess it up some more. Here you go. http://cheesestorecedarhurst.com/yahoo_site_admin/as...

Re: Advice From an Actual Correction Officer
Change "Guard" to "Correction Officer." We are Correction Officers. We are not guards. We go through a Corrections Academy to be able to work in the jail/prison. The word "guard" sounds uneducated. The people you see in uniform at your local mall are guards. We are tra...

Incorrect - Just don't use shower in the regime. Schedule freetime or lockup and they will use it.

Re: Why do they chose that route?
I've noticed that the amount of locked doors that your staff and prisoners have to negotiate impacts their routing significantly. They will walk 200 tiles to bypass one locked remote door that going through would create a trip of 50 tiles, even if the doors happen to be locked open.

Re: Is there a better way to control remote doors?
No, but if you design your cell blocks in a very uniform manner connections will be cloned, saving a significant amount of work. 90% of gulag 15 is careful use of the clone tool.

Re: Regime/Door Issue
1. Make sure the times match up if you have the doors set to open on specific times instead of at specific regimes. 2. Make sure that you have the correct regime selected.(and the correct open/close state flagged) 3. Make sure the connections are going in the right direction. (from timer to door ins...

Re: Is there a better way to control remote doors?
I've experimented extensively with remote doors - one of my prisons required over 3,000 unique connections. That being said, the most effective formula I've devised so far, is to cap out the number of doors connected to an individual door control to approximately 20. (more or less depending on how f...
