You don't bypass anything, it only happens faster. For example. if your prisoner gets stuck in a wall he will be stuck in a wall. Doesn't matter if you notice it this instant or a game day later. The only way I managed to get a riot was sending everybody to the fenced off yard and locking it for a few days. It was quite the cage match, but at some point they stopped killing each-other and the guards had to end it.

OP's idea has nothing to do with your ironic suggestions. They would alter the gameplay, while his would only save the player's time. Here is a good question for you, what games even exist that atop every time an incident occurs. Other the FTL but that game was built around the idea of stopping apron incident. I have played my RTS's, FPS's, just about any type you can think of and I do not remember such a feature ever being built...
