My intent of this addition is to extend, not shorten, the stay in prison. I don't see what this has to do with the thread that was linked. Hahaha... shorten the stay. The OP mentioned execution, yes, but if you read the rest of the thread, it has turned into a discussion about influencing cou...
Re: Execution?
Will the execution punishment be added in alpha 14? That would be a good idea if they kill a guard or stuff or a prisoner and you can chose in the policy menu Hello, Ricards13, and welcome to the forums. The answer to this is unknown at this time. If you have any other alpha questions or suggestion...

Re: Game Recommendation: Game Volume
Hello and welcome to the dev forums. There is actually volume under Audio in the Options menu. The strange thing is, if you yank it all the way to the left (which, you would assume would be mute) it still has normal sound. But, if you then pull the slider to the right again JUST A HAIR, then it'll b...

Good idea, and I'm so sorry you hurt your hand. Is it permanent?

Hi there, bunch of numbers! Welcome to the dev forums. Haven't seen you around. No, executions are't to be used at the convenience of the warden. Now that doesn't mean I disagree entirely. If you could send a prisoner to court and assign your lawyer to accomplish certain objectives(extend sentence for assault, death row for killing staff members, etc.) and then there'll be a c...

Sorry I've been busy IRL.. How much of this has been implemented already? Downloading the latest version now to check it out! Seriously? All joking aside, I think your idea is neat, but would more suit a total conversion fan mod. But, the ability to make fan mods will be a while from now, pro...

Other than the execution chamber and the holding cell, what do you not use? I use everything else. Novbert summed that up pretty well, I think. I think most of us here do tend to use all the rooms available because we like designing around them, but a prison doesn't actually require them and can be...

perhaps the main issue is that if a yard is fully enclosed, whether it has a door or not, it may trigger as acceptable.. Foundations need doors, this is nothing new. A foundation will not complete until it has a door. Building four joined foundations around a central square will not complete withou...

Yeah, the situation would be rather different if PA would work like Sims i.e. there would be no regime, and you'd have to micromanage prisoner activities based on needs. You can still do it tweaking the regime all the time, but it's rather tiresome. Not saying it should be like The Sims, just that ...

Um...... I like cake? :D ... No, I'm kidding. I did read i all. I agree, I think the current Needs system should be looked over sometime. To me, it most resembles The Sims, in which a Sim will take it upon him/herself to fulfill the most urgent Need and that will very often mean that another Need th...
