We should create a forum badge for this. That is, those icons shown under our name. A few different ranks would be needed. Bronze for a few issues, silver for a bunch more, gold for a lot and platinum for the guys who actually does the job.

A cancellation fee and having to pay back the advance payment is a good solution. But I dunno about a time limit. A possible setup would be to have the cancellation fee vary depending on the time since taking the grant. Instantly canceling should be free, but at some point it becomes cheaper to just...

It is taking the easy way out. But it is the correct thing in a few situations where specific problems are distinct but caused by tightly linked code.
