The more entities you have the more pathfinding the game will have to do. Currently the game isn't very optimized and pathfinding seems to be a big part of issue so try to keep the amount of entities as low as possible. About 300 entities on low-end systems and 800-900 on high-end systems is the max...

oww right, I misread that. I thought you meant to say that they will no longer fullfill the CUSTOM need but they won't fullfill any needs, that's odd. Might be caused by the game overwriting the 'needs.txt' file instead of combining the two but it's definitely a bug

never encountered it before, it could be related to a lot of things.

Maybe multiple needs-adding mods don't work together properly
Are you 100% sure your prisoners were fullfiling the need before?
Are the needs coded properly?

I might be thinking of another game, but I'm pretty sure in the settings you can dictate what the frame rate is set to. Default should be 30 and 60 is the highest. Mine is oddly limited to 60 without me interfering with it. It must be some third party program but I never put a cap on it myself. Vsync will probably be added later on

I do agree the mechanic needs some polishing. A workman should test the chair, the hallways should be empty, there should be some kind of animation for his death. But the overall concept is really good
