I voted yes, but I would most prefer they focus on one floor pathing for the AI. Lets be honest with ourselves and not get overly ambitious. A second floor would mean the sprites will try to float through the ceiling to the second floor instead of walking to the stairs. Once pathing and segregating ...

You should also take a look at the entrance portion of this http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=142966741#50481 Wall in your entrance, only safe way I've found when having workshops. The staff-only zone keeps the workshop prisoners from going to get sheet metal (workmen will bring...

While posting this picture series someone murdered my janitor, I am about to make that prison cry that janitor was a true hero. I'm always losing my janitors :( They just want to clean the showers those brave little souls!! *RIP-many janitors 2013-2013* I would also put a guard on patrol in that sm...

Disclaimer: I am at the building stages of a medium prison set, if things don't make sense chances are it is because I am currently remodeling. Or I'm bad at prison architect. Both, neither has any effect of course, as the job is set to prisoner, not workman/guard. Guards won't pick up uniforms either... If you get this to work, mind posting a screenshot? The only way I've ever managed to get a guard or worker to pick up either item from the trucks is if I have zero pris...

At the moment, large sleeping holding cells have no drawback that I know of untill someone starts screaming, at which point fewer prisoners will be able to sleep. So if you keep em happy, its no problem. But I was talking of regular cell-blocks, like you. I've had more trouble with assigning too ma...

edit: also a non-editing way to get more clothes if you have a shortfall (which you will) is to buy more beds than you are using and shove them in storage. Your laundry needs will now be met. Oh, did not know that, really nice tip! Found that out due to desperation, clothing started going missing a...

Making it so that there can be 9 or so prisoners for the picking up and delivering steps will handle a 30ish population. Certainly don't need more than 3-4 for just 30 prisoners, unless you spread things out all over the place. I have a problem where they push the basket as far away as possible the...

Reasonably sure prisons are segregated, best you should get is all male or all female prisoners with an actual choice for the employees.

The laundry room MUST have a door, just slap a big one in and lock it open so the guards can patrol by and see in if you don't want to dedicate a guard to it. Size doesn't seen to matter much. HOWEVER, large openings are needed or your prisoners will get trapped at entrances. Making it so that there...

I've found centralizing the whole thing to be a good move, as well as restricting the number of laundry baskets to absolutely no more than two. The prisoners centralize when there is nothing to do which means with the collision control in game that nothing further will happen as everyone is pinned. ...
