WARNING: Wall of Text incoming. Going with open-source is indeed arrogant and naive Mea culpa - I meant going with open-source blindly . Edited. Now as for Skype, well, they spent months implementing PRISM. I have yet to see any hard proof that this is the case. Until then, I'm not convinced. The p...

I know it's in the spirit of the internet to crush those that create further threads, but The Doctor's added all the links in one place and a bit of advice: so I politely tip my hat off to you, sir. Doctore rulz:) Eh? And you coward. You know you were getting destroyed in the Atlantic that last game!

Going with open-source blindly is indeed arrogant and naive. As for the other statements - for Firefox, which a thriving community and in ...

You have to edit a config file to make the changes. If you find any interesting setting combinations that work well be sure to post them here.

Thanks, might get round to it - could be interesting.

Thanks, didn't know that.

Might I also add: keep a few bombers in the air on SRBM launch mode just flying about after Defcon 1 (although a good player will have spread their fleet out by then).

Something being open source doesn't automatically mean it's better than its closed source equivalent. I would contend, privacy-wise, it absolutely does. If Skype was open-source, would PRISM have been implemented? One of the greatest attractions of Linux is that it's in the community's hands. but t...

Re: f

I didn't mean to say such features were exclusive to Firefox. The LSO plugin does delete automatically, though. That was just a quick guide to setting things up. Arguably, Firefox has the edge over Opera as it's entirely open-source. But I will admit that is somewhat negligible. f I live my whole li...

Re: f

But Opera durn't respect t'freedoms! Mozilla seems to keep end-user privacy and security to heart; I'm less sure about any of the other mainstream browser developers. Mhm, well, ironically Mozilla track you on their site. But Firefox is indeed the best option privacy-wise. I use: - Adblock Plus wit...
