Re: [suggestion] Could you let CPU work more efficiently ?
There will most likely be optimisations before launch, as optimisation is normally done in the beta. However, it should also be noted that the game does already run surprisingly well, on both my newly bought gaming laptop and my five year old Mac, so there's a chance that they are some system specif...

Re: Tunnels before prisonners?!
Stuff For the tunnels to the right, they might have to pass through less concrete walls or other obstructions. That may explain why the room to the left just digs out of the building, rather than go through the concrete shower, which takes longer to dig through. As for the right-most rooms, since t...

Re: Hedges
Aren't hedges really good at hiding contraband? Wouldn't want anything like that near my prison.

Re: Tunnels before prisonners?!
Oddly enough: My medium sec guys are really fond of digging tunnels. They love their tunnels. And they always come from the same damn cells in the middle of the block despite moving the prisoners around (that could be a bug but I'm not sure). Meanwhile my 300 unhappy max sec guys never dig. From wh...

Re: Tunnels before prisonners?!
Personally, I build perimeter walls around the entire prison, and leave 4 "gaps" in between (North, east, south, west). Make sure the inside area is still counted as secure. I then spam the gaps with dogs. The poor prisoners and their futile attempts... An alternate method involves the use...

Re: [question] concerning guards delivering meals
Or spam guards along the route from the protective custody cells to the canteen.
But yeah, after the 75% survival rate for protective custody prisoners dropped to 50%, I quickly built them their own canteen.

bugbash 3a This is a huge mess - i'm trying very hard to be polite but making a crucial update / bugbash available only through a bloody steam beta whatsoever ... arrrrrgghhhhh We have accepted that we must have a forum login and we accepted another darn account on mantis to help this game - but th...

Re: Change shared zones to Max, Medium, Min
A better solution (which has been mentioned numerous times in the forum) would be the ability to assign multiple prisoner types to the same area. Imagine the interface for assigning guards or prison labour. But with different types of prisoner security.

Re: [SUGGESTION] Public opinion of prison
The interview mechanic sounds intriguing for the campaign. In terms of public opinion, the first version of the lawyer was kinda for that purpose. The lawyer would limit the negative effects of you being a really bad prison architect. Granted, it was more to do with limiting the legal ramifications,...

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't the point of the bug tracker to... you know... track bugs?
And not to suggest new features?

Re: [Bug] Doctors are now Witch Doctors in Alpha 31
This is absolutely game-breaking. Doctors have to be continuously fired and rehired in order to stop them from bugging out. Actually, all you need to do is manually direct a doctor towards the injured prisoner. Once the prisoner is healed, simply move the bugged doctors by a tile or two and they'll...

Re: [Suggestion] Choice of Execution Method
I think the question is this: Would you prefer them to spend more development time adding and polishing other new features, or to add other ways of execution in an otherwise optional and extremely rare aspect of the game? At the end of the day, IV is not a charity, and they are indeed planning on wr...

Re: [Bug] Doctors are now Witch Doctors in Alpha 31
Half my doctors just pointed at the direction of the injured prisoner instead of picking him up. Or maybe they just headed towards that direction, forgetting the existence of walls.

Re: Food in cell not working?!
So... do we actually have to link the solitary cells up or not?
And when do the prisoners in solitary get fed?
Is it during the meal times, or does it automatically trigger once a prisoner is hungry?
Also, does the size of the solitary cell affect possible food delivery?

Re: [SUGGESTION] Public opinion of prison
i dont see how a prisoner in real life can steal weapons, attack countless prisoners in a riot and still doesnt have his sentence increased... If the various articles I've read over the years is anything to go by, prison violence and other general misconducts are extremely common. Generally, miscon...
