Fix the laundry basket issue.
The whole reform and program stuff is worthless because 2/3s of the Prisoners moan about their clothing needs. This is a big issue with large prisons with several laundry rooms and baskets.

Re: Super-nerfed workshops
Default prison sentences are way too short for longer trainings to be viable. Also it doesn't scale down with larger prisons (that slow down time), so some prisoners are coming in on day 1 and leaving on day 3 even.

Re: Ring Prison - You will NOT ESCAPE
I made a hasty judgement without analysing the prison carefully. Since you know it works well yourself, why are you blowing up over a question? Keep your anger in check. Nonetheless I downloaded and ran the prison. The best designed one, or one of, that I've seen. 4am shower keeps High Risk prisoner...

Re: This is why sleep mechanic should be reworked
When I played over a year ago in the single-digit alphas prisoners were free to sleep during Free Time at any time of the day. I've no idea why it changed. Same goes for many other Regime mechanics: 1. Prisoners staying in the shower for the whole hour when in past alphas they'd go back to their cel...

Re: Prisoner Sentence speed in relation to TimeWarpFactor ??
I can confirm that. I have a prison on a large map and I was forced to intake maxsec prisoners, because with midsec they get released too fast apparently and I can't move above 100 prisoners (with capacity of 180). Thanks. The numbers are very close to mine. For now I'm resorting to editing the sav...

Prisoner Sentence speed in relation to TimeWarpFactor ???
Hi. In order to make the whole post very clear, let me premise it by assigning two things: GameTime and IncidentalTime . - GameTime is the rate of time at which the clock runs ingame. This directly affects your regime and day-night cycles. - IncidentalTime is the rate of which everything else takes ...

Re: Ring Prison - You will NOT ESCAPE
The ratio looks off.
Are the Maxsec contained with Armed Guards? They wouldn't last in that small shower. 40 prisoners in 4x10m sounds like a daily riot in Maxsec.

Re: [Suggestions] My personal wishes for A18
Apart from my usual grousing about reading this topic on how to post a suggestion or question , some comments: "Weapons free" on a per-guard basis - the guys who guard my armory are supposed to have a lot itchier trigger fingers than the guys keeping the rowdy crowd in the canteen cowed P...

Seeing that picture, makes me thing, it would be kinda cool if not all prisoners had same yellow clothes. i mean there could be like a rating system if you will. Less dangerous inmates have green clothes maybe, the average ones have yellow, the really dangerous ones have red. or something. I vouch ...

Minor suggestion on FoW: Mark brought up what if prisoners destroyed objects or even walls when you have no workers to view it? Well instead of adding the roof effect to show that it's out of control area, I think we should follow suit with what (I think) many other RTS games do. It simply remains a...

Honestly, a key gameplay mechanic behind this game is that space is a limiting factor (hence, continuous intake). This would be lost if you had muti-story prisons. Wait, that continuous intake isn't just temporal for these early builds? I don't know exactly the ultimate objective of PA, if that dir...

The only benefit that I have ever seen from this is that you can duplicate a cell block from the ground floor, and build it again on the second. Suddenly we have the ability to house twice as many prisoners with no additional land being used and as useful as that is, it really isn't worth introduci...
Look at the 4th post on this topic. It helped me.
