Re: your worst inmate

Chris Delay. He seems to be involved in each and every riot I have observed, both accidental riots and those I purposefully triggered (for experiments or to kill off gang members). Never directly singled out for weapons or murders. Maybe he's the true leader of all three gangs. He sadly was shot to ...

Re: This god damn event system...

Dealing with the virus is not a big deal for me, compared to seeing who's infected. There should be some way for information of the virus outbreak to reach the warden/architect. Maybe the guards or fellow prisoners can notify doctors. Maybe it could be observed on CCTV and doctors can be dispatched....

Re: [suggestion] Inmate Mental Health

I would also recommend that attempting suicide isn't just a percentage chance of dying, but that it actually is coded to be a self-attack, like fighting but with more damage and directed at one's self. I think the chance is "chance to trigger attempt" or some sort. Probably not a "ch...

Re: [Suggestion] New character: Master Chef

I think middle management system can really be improved. In my opinion a "Chef" (as opposed to "cook", who are perceived to be lower in terms of work area) would oversee a single kitchen (or a certain number of cooks), leading classes, but is only able to research up to some capa...

Re: [Suggestion] Who killed this guy? and Who did this?

It would be a good way to go. Knowing who kills who (maybe the record is only available if you have a line of sight on the murder, based on guards and CCTV maybe) helps a lot when diagnosing certain matters such as security and segregation.

Re: [suggestion] Death by old age and diseases

Maybe add autopsy too, so deaths in this case would not be penalizing.

I think that's why OP posted a suggestion instead of just making or downloading an existing mod ;)

Re: [Sugestion] - Garage/Mechanic

When a feature is suggested, it is suggested that it is added to the main game. I do agree though that the single-road is not very scalable when managing mega-prisons. However, I'm pretty sure that it's a matter of time until some trucks "got brakes cut" and crashed "uncontrollably&qu...

Re: [SUGGESTION] Theatre/choir club

A pastime for inmates that could help rehab. Theatre/ play acting, or choir groups that can rehearse in free time. Stages can be placed in common rooms or yards (anywhere inmates can gather), and performances given occasionally. I never seen that in a prison , please remember they are prisone...

Re: Suggestion: Toggle daylight hotkey

Let's buy a floodlight instead. Also useful at getting escaping prisoners. (If manned by a guard or workman, he would point it to incidents automatically, bringing attention to other guards.)

Nothing more fun than a yard fight at 2 AM shined by powerful lighting effects.

Re: [Suggestion/Question] What's the End-Game? What do you w

I think multiple endings would be nice. In Papers Please you can end game in many different ways, including helping the rebellion, staying firm with your communist government, defecting to another country with or without your family, or somehow end up jailed or dead. I suggest that both special pris...

Re: Fire Drill as the Opposite of Bang Up?

All these points about fire prevention and firefighting are good. May I suggest that: - Fire drills annoy prisoners - Prisoners take quite a number of drills to be properly drilled - Prisoners may actually try to escape during a fire or a fire drill - Forensics can later be hired to determine the ca...

Re: New Idea: Autopsy Reports?

Not really. An in-game day is analogous to years served for people's prison sentences. They learn how to become master carpenters over the course of a week. Who cares if people who are already doctors learn how to perform autopsies after a couple in-game days? Fun and game balance is king, realism ...

Re: New Idea: Autopsy Reports?

No reason to complicate it. A simple Bureaucracy upgrade and a class would fit within the game's existing system, there's no need to introduce a new mechanic for the player to learn for just this one thing. Have some off-site doctor show up as a teacher in the morgue where he teaches your doctors o...
