It works fine on Windows XP, so presuming that that version uses the same ports as the OS X version then it's not an issue with my router. The fault would therefore seem to lie with the Mac either with some setting on it or with the app itself. Running some network sniffing on my Mac shows it talkin...

I don't think that it's a firewall thing... I've turned off my local firewall and some of the protection on my router and I still can't authenticate. OS X is definitely supported, somewhat ironically if I were running the Windows version I'd probably have an easier time in ripping the thing to pieces and working out the problem...
