This has been a problem since the modding first came out (obviously).
It's been great that other things have been put first, but the moment this is fixed, it will be infinitely replayable as we can have mods-galore!

I think there could be a couple of ways to increase the replayability. I'd like to see the ability to create my own security levels, so I can treat some of my prisoners (the good ones) and really punish the bad ones (my 2 legendary cop killers). Just Protective Custody and Supermax isn't really enou...

It would add another use for the perimeter wall, as it has barbed wire (to prevent climbing) and you know, its a wall so you can't cut through it (unless we are all quite mistaken :)

There have been good updates, and ones that really break everything. At the end of it, it's just a month where I won't play PA. My prisoners will only use toilets in the canteen, or just about anywhere... except from their cells. As well as the drug and alcohol programs not working, my game is pretty much unplayable :(

Along with you idea, prisoner death of old age could be added too. And also for your idea, if you neglect your prisoners and one dies, it could become one of the failure states.

While I'd like to be able to execute prisoners at my will, it's probably not going to happen :( But what should happen is that for any misdemeanor such as serious injury or murder, the prisoner should have another trial for those crimes and if necessary, then be executed for those crimes. This is a confirmed bug as of Alpha 24 (and in some cases 23). The only way to definitely save is to wait for autosave to save the game and then quit :( I guess you found out the hard way, as did I.

I know this isn't really a solution, but if you want to find a prisoners cell, you can obviously click the "search cell" in their Bio. But as you said, it would be nice to have it the other way round too.

I think xander has said it pretty well. Any campaign mode should be IV's creation solely, and they're going for a reasonably realistic approach. A sandbox mode would have these (choosing yourself who is executed.) sort of options in it.

Did that guy's question from the first page actually get answered? Anyway, this all seems to have descended into a conflict about whether a concentration camp is a prison or not, and whether they should be included in the game. I honestly think that the devs should leave it be, and so should others....

I love the idea, but obviously want to see the main "Architect" theme focused on first. But I would still love to play as a prisoner, though I would suggest that you be able to 'assume' prisoners to see what your prison is like, rather than having to wait till the endgame.
