I have noticed that in a lot of the youtube videos people have posted, the prisoners are in fact fairly lean, and I have wondered if it's because of the controlled diet. They can't just grab an entire bag of Lays and just watch football all Sunday. Counterpoint: the first season of "Survivor&q...

Architect Architect - build and run an A&E (arcitecture and engineering) firm!

On second thought, please never do that.

I make no attempts to hide the fact that some of my suggestions may be way too complicated! I disliked the water system in Sim City (the electricity system worked well in the first games) because it was not fun. It was as fun as grinding in World of Warcraft. Felt like a work instead of a creative p...

Full disclosure - I think that running multiple floors on multiple monitors might be extremely tough to program. One alternative (although probably as difficult) would be an "Open TTD" where you have a bunch of windows. Anyhow, one of the secure buildings I've been in (and can talk about t...

If anyone here has a Quadro, you could have one monitor for each floor. I generally disagree that multiple floors are necessary, but my god how amazing would that be. I need to buy one of those ABB control room workstations that has four LCD monitors and a 80 inch plasma screen if I can find $40,00...

That's incredible! I had no idea the engine was that small.

I'm thinking that as time goes on things will become more and more optimized as well.

If anyone here has a Quadro, you could have one monitor for each floor. Imagine it, a massive multi-level facility. Divided up into separate, self-sufficient areas based on floors. A "super-jail" concept. You could even have floors dedicated to specific functions with separate elevators fo...

I want to be able to set up the elevator controller, like the per-unit inertia, PID loop, motor overload settings, and soforth! Not really. I can still hear the Sim Tower elevator sounds perfectly clearly in my head. Such a happy sound. Unless you were playing it on a 486/66. I swear that game ran s...

Having played the "STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl" games, I've noticed that everything in the game is way too bright at night. Is there anyway to do what he said to make everything darker?
