Re: [Suggestion] Guard training programs

I love the idea of this. Maybe you could have it scheduled in alongside your regime? For a bit of extra realism and Strategy as well, I think it may be a good idea to have the trainers work 9-5. This way, you would have a choice. Do you run your regime without those guards in training? Risking a cri...

yeah that'd be great. Shame you gotta lose your job to do this without breaking rules though lol. Anyone got a floor plan of alcatraz or any other long-closed prisons? In all honesty, if I did this while still employed or if the Prison was still in commission there would be several offences I could...

Unfortunatly, I will not be able to provide pictures of the real deal. Any implements that take photos are banned in Prisons, although one official camera is kept locked in a safe, and is only accessible to certain security cleared staff. Just thought it may be cool for some people to see a layout o...

Real life prison recreated in PA

Hello all, due to my circumstances within the Prison Service, there is currently a voluntary early departure scheme upcoming. Once I have left, there is also circumstances which my prison will be decommissioned permanantly. Therefore there will be no security issues of making a replica of the prison...

It's just not realistic, I can't speak for the US, but in the UK, our Cat A jails generally have few incidents, although they end up being more serious when they do go.

I believe this has been suggested before, but I like the idea. Would you propose corruption is simply a function of job satisfaction (or lack thereof), some inherent trait ,or both? How do you propose the player should improve/prevent staff corruption? ie: who polices the police? In real life, the ...

I like the idea of Officers starting as a rookie, and working their way up the ranks, especially branching out. In my place to get on the advanced team (Riot Squad) You have to wait at least 5 years! Experience should be nessecary to go to other roles, such as riot team, dog unit, etc. I'm not convi...

My suggestion; have as few cooks as possible, and then use Prisoners to serve the food. Maybe a couple of the trusted ones helping the cooks, but being supervised by them.

I think prisoners should be responsibile for keeping for their own cells clean ideally. I would imagine thats how it is handled in rl (with punishments for those who live in absolute squalor maybe). It wouldn't make any sense to do it any other way. My suggestion, have a supply cupboard on the land...

Also, do medical staff/workers in prisons normally have communication with guards (radios)? Medical Staff have radios as they also have to respond to any general alarm bells in case of injuries. Our works department carry radios, however, they are on a different network, although they could contact...

Actually quite rare in UK prisons, although you do get a few who insist they are "gay for the stay."

Small Name Change

Small but never the less, can we get the name "Guard" changed to "Officer" we really do a lot more all day than stand around guarding things, this isn't a museum!
