Re: I'm really perplexed...
yeah i know what you mean, trust me though, this is a real hell hole of a prison anyway, you really couldn't be let out of your cell to any other functional rooms without passing at least 1-3 metal detectors, now it'll be more like 20-40+ though

Re: I'm really perplexed...
you know, after reading this, to hell with metal detectors at choke points, i'm gonna go update my prison on the workshop (Slave Labor) to have a metal detector outside every single cell in the facility as well.

Re: Holding Cells whats the point?
pretty sure they'll eventually realize no guard is watching over them and make a break for it escaping if you leave them outside in the delivery area, not positive this happens in the current alpha but i know i've seen it work like that a few times before.

honestly i'd love to have a punishment regime with a list of all possible offenses prisoners can commit and then assign a punishment to each, as well as options for how much or what the more severe punishment should be for repeat offenses of the same type, ie contraband give a day of lockdown the fi...

well this explains far too much, i've got to the point with my current prison that honestly, the game is far too easy, i make 8-20k daily in license plates, current goal is to have cells for 100 then more prisoners, at around 60ish or so. but what i mean is i still have probably less than 10% detect...

not quite sure how to interpret what you've wrote, so i'll try to answer both ways i see it in turn. performance during updating: it depends on a lot of things really, whether or not you use steam to update it or direct downloads from the alpha site, steam can be a large overhead on lower end machin...

honestly, they go further than all that from what i saw in county, every piece of mail that gets delivered is opened, the stamp is removed (in case of doses of acid or similar) and the letter itself is read for content, anything deemed too much is simply not delivered until you are released or retur...
