I suspect this might come with guard towers, if they do arrive at some point. Doesn't make much sense to have rifle-armed guards in a tower if you can't give them a warning area & lethal force area beyond the fences.

Any prison infirmary will have IV nutrition on hand, as well as ensure and other liquid foods. Plenty of prisons have to deal with elderly and ill prisoners who cannot eat solid food.
