I think the fantastic sales figures for a the game (while merely in Alpha) show that it is and will do well regardless of a few people grabbing it for free. why waste resources on a pointless chase when they could be continuing to improve the game. Piracy is here to stay. (and no the peple voting &q...

I'm the opposite, I bought this game but now just sit and download torrents of it all day. I don't even play them, but I'm hoping that the more of them I download the fewer there are available, thus forcing people to buy the game... That's how the internet works... right? I love the idea of d...

I don't think this is "necessary" as such. As has been pointed out it does seem to fit the style. Theme Hospital had exclusively male doctors and handymen, exclusively female nurses and receptionists. Rightly or wrongly it seemed to work? it did work. looking back, it may have been a litt...

at a guess I'd say most guards in male prisons are men? for no other reason than a woman is less likely to be able to deal with an out of control prisoner

I'm getting the exact same virus warning with Alpha 3. Alphas 1 and 2 are fine. Alpha 3 is reading as w32.infostealer.gen, so it stays uninstalled until someone can prove to me that the wiki was not hacked and the game .exe replaced. it's not a virus. My virus guard (sophos) thinks the .exe is a vi...

it's just a bug for now. at least i'd consider it a bug. It can't build until theres a door as part of the new construction. for extensions, build the new area, remove the door and go over the now internal wall with flooring

3) Guards should reveal like they were walking cameras. A cone effect depending on their facing. I don't see why a guard can reveal an area he just left. its only revealed behind him for a period of time isnt it? It makes perfect sense. If he's walked through an area from one side to another, no on...

The problem is that your counting the other buildings door as the new buildings door. It doesn't work like that yet. Put a door anywhere, it'll build it, then remove that door. That'll extend the building how you wsnt

i wouldnt have thought it would make a big enough game play difference to make it worth it. Homosexuality happens everywhere in life, but it's not lobbed into every game that's made. It would tread a fine line between ok and offensive too. How would you show that they are gay? What would they do dif...

What could be done, it auto rotation, if you try to place something that goes on a wall (like a window) instead of placing it in the roatation the user select, it could be auto rotated to match the wall. The problem with that is that most objects in the game don't go on walls, nor do they have an o...

I like CoD style games too. The reason CoD is so good is because they use game theory so well. Rewards for the slightest thing, endless challenges, etc. even bad players can feel like kings.

But i'll play a mix of title to satisfy my gaming needs :p

a guard radius around each guard would work well I guess. A bit like games like C&C where if troops get within a certain range they'd attack. but also the ability place those blue patrol dots anywhere outside

sorry I just get ticked off with online forums. if you removed all the posts from people telling others what they've said is wrong, about 90% of posts would disappear lol.

Logged now. I figure deployment and patrols should work independently else be rolled into one
