You want to be careful - if you put too many CCTV cameras in to make it cheaper to monitor prisoners and sack guards, the guards might unionise and go on strike... :P

So how do they work? What do you put in them? So far they're just empty rooms in my prisons.

The morgue is used to remove a dead body from the prison 'proper' (you need a slab as well).

As for the release date of prisoners, that has been brought up before in other threads, the location of which escape me currently, sorry :)

'Problem' prisons.

So - we can share .prison files with each other, clearly a nod to the Dwarf Fortress mechanic. I assume that in the final game there will be scenarios where you have to achieve a certain objective with a given prison file and under restrictions. Any problem that we come up with presently can be solv...

I support a sandbox mode with unlimited money and all the research complete at the start (or at the very least leave the save game easily able to be edited like now). Now if only there was a way to delay the prisoners from arriving until I say they could come. lol Well, if you've edited the file to...

I've noticed that the 'no route' will also hang around for a few (in game) hours after you've created one. I guess there's some sort of polling cycle there that the game engine will eventually get around to and realise that you've opened the route.

If you play long enough, then it will eventually fall over due to the sheer number of prisoners I imagine.

Why not just upload your .prison file - then we can play it :)

David - yes, 1 tile gap between each open designation. I didn't explain myself that clearly, but you got it anyway :)

You could save on building costs by not building the walls and doors for each cell block I'm guessing - designate lots of little 3x2 areas in 1 big room that each has a bog and a bed. Not tested it, but just a thought. Save a bit of cash for a large cell block.
