Does one get busted, out of job, if thrown off a lan by administrator? Does this mean you have been tracked, or is there another reason for my loss of job?

I have four dead characters on uplink. 3 of them got caught after a lan attack. I sure don't know how to prevent it, other than log deleting in internic.
