Re: [Suggestion] prison rape?
I tend to agree with Xander on this one. While you could have offered mechanical effects in the game, your main argument is that it'd be different and provocative. While there could be arguments for it, centered around how it affects the social standing and activity of the involved prisoners, you di...

Re: [Suggestion] API / Communication Protocol
I suppose my main question here is, well, why? What does letting people get data of what your prison is like and doing accomplish? I can't really decide where I stand here since you're not really saying why players would want it.

[Suggestion] Full hotkey support
One thing I'm surprised hasn't been added is real hotkey support. I would like the ability to bind hotkeys to each menu as well as being able to select objects and give them their own key to access, if we want. I know not everyone uses them, however it makes little sense that other producitivy aids ...

Re: Prison architect age rating
If ESRB were to rate it, it would at least be T. Due to partial nudity and the overall dark theme of the game, one could easily make the argument that this is rated M.

Re: Hey can you read this subject?
To elaborate, the devs stated in the update 4 release video that they are "in negotiations" with someone to try and get the tablet version released. Regardless of how negotiations go, PA will release on the tablet, it may just be later than expected.

There you go. For future reference, just open up the special entities .png with your preferred image editor and draw a black rectangle over the offending parts.

A question on physical items
So I backed Prison Architect at the Face-In-Game level, partially in order to get physical items. However, due to moving, I need to change address with IV. I've already sent an email to them asking about changing it, but I was wondering if the packages have already been shipped. Any help would be ap...

Re: Question on V1.0 release date
Yeah, since it's only in Texas, I doubted it to be anything more than coincidence. It was still interesting to think about.

Question on V1.0 release date
As the developers are not American, I'm genuinely curious as to if they really thought about their release date this much. In America, on Tuesday, we have an event called National Night Out as an awareness raiser for crime. I think this is amusing but it would be more so if lV intended this.

[Question] CCTV operation
I'm attempting to get back in the game here and so when going over CCTV, I noticed that guards did not automatically assign to them. I realized that I hadn't connected wires, however there's no such option. The CCTV monitor is in a security room and I have 6 CCTV cameras already set up. I would appr...

Re: [Suggestion] Execution failures
As far as I'm aware, once an execution has started, they don't stop. I would prefer not to have specialty animations designed for this. Rather a failure brings up a report and the prisoner takes a large but random within a certain range of damage. * In addition, botched executions don't get cancelle...

[Suggestion] Execution failures
Looking around, I've seen some references to this but not a topic actually addressing something that's a major part of the controversy in executions. There's different things that describe a botched execution, from the person surviving to various degrees to them dying horrible deaths due to an overs...

[Suggestion] Death row guard detail
So, watching the video, there was a difference I noticed that really bugged me. In the campaign, we had the death row inmate sent to his own cell where he was led by a guard detail to the execution chamber. Not to mention in reality, you can't expect every prisoner to willingly walk to their death a...

Re: [Suggestion] Search party for escapees
I think that you should get a days without incident reset regardless, the incentive to not have the penalty for an escaped prisoner should be enough to motivate a player to move. Also, perhaps we could pay the government to help us out, using law enforcement to increase the chances of finding the pr...

Nothing like having the prisoner feel like they've escape only to have run into a 'free fire' zone around the building. Also, why don't we actually HAVE sniper towers?
The art assets are there, my guess is that they're working out how rifles and all the associated mechanics will work.
