I have the same bug on my Linux PCs, I've tried in my Laptop with 64bit Gentoo Linux and steam version of PA - game just crashes if I have at least one Confidential Informant and click to "Intelligence > Informants". And I've tried on desktop with 64bit Debian Linux 8.2 and standalone vers...

I assume, that in Escape mode, prison seek for restore it original state.
So after some time all damaged furniture return to normal, all burned walls are being rebuild and all dead prisoner and staff are re-spawn (or arrive back).
