Many strategy games I play have a mod known as better ai or smarter ai. The purpose of this mod is to make the ai 'smarter' by programming better tactics into the way the ai thinks.

Does defcon have such a mod?

Not sure if this is a problem with the mod, my game, or me putting it in the wrong folder, but I loaded the mod and it wont let me start a game.

I can create a game, add 2 ais, but it wont let me selected the start game icon.

Its using the space mod if that makes a difference.

Although I haven't done so against a human, I just beat an ai where I intentionally never placed my fleet...

I was NA and my opponent was SA, if that makes any difference

So I downloaded a few cool looking mods. Great, now how do I play them?

Is there a list of working mods, most links seem to be invalid...

Anyone know where I could get a copy of this mod?
