I purchased via steam, the beta patch has an entry for a codecard.txt that links to a download of uplink.

I cannot seem to get the beta patch to work.

There is a 1.55 patch for Windows (and Linux?) running around somewhere, but that is not going to be helpful for someone with a Mac.
