[Suggestion] High Tech

Right now it seems like we are saddled with technology from the 60's in terms of controlling our prison. It'd be nice as a DLC (or possibly even a mod?) to add some high tech options to bring Prison Architecting into the modern age: Some miscellaneous ideas I had: RFID Tags & Sensors: (Re...

Re: Current Suggestions Compilation List

A couple seem like they've been added and should be removed from the list: - Option to hire different quality cooks in order to provide better / worse food for the prisoners. (You can provide high/med/low quality and high/med/low variety already) - Add laundries into the game, either with new staff ...

Why are we even talking about this? They can't just remove the names from the game without gutting customer trust for future kickstarters/donations/tiers kind of thing. Just roll your eyes and if it really bothers you lock them in solitary for being silly. Keep in mind that this is still ALPHA and a...

Adding real names would require permission for their likeness to be used. Considering the targets would be 'criminals' I don't think many would be willing to let a bunch of anonymous people get pleasure out of imprisoning and torturing them. In addition, it opens the game up to all sorts of legal is...

/nod. There is too much in the works on their "to-do list" to call 10 the last big update. They have understandably built padding into their schedule so that if 10 turns out to be a hot mess they can spend 11/12 fixing it before moving on.

Keep your ethics and philosophy out of my sandbox game. If I want to create some kind of hippie utopia where everyone is a free happy rehab commune, I should be able to. If I want to make a brutal gulag where the smallest infraction meets confinement and death, I should be able to. And, more likely,...

In theory guards should have radios and a guard not being mobbed by prisoners should be able to request reinforcements appropriate to the size of the disturbance.

Alright, basic questions: Are there any doors between start and end point? Have you tried building something RIGHT IN FRONT of the workers? Is this happening IMMEDIATELY upon a new game load (i.e. you can't do anything with a new game) Have you tried restarting your computer and then loading up a fr...

[Suggestion] Obvious UI Overlay when in Emergancy State

When you click on lockdown or bangup there should be some kind of graphical overlay to show that your prison is on alert. Perhaps tint the screen around the edges in red and have a big bold LOCKDOWN at the top. The primary purpose for this is to prevent users from accidentally clicking an emergancy ...

Just checking. Some prisoners I've noticed get into a bad mood and stay there. As you mentioned they are too busy complaining to actually satisfy a need. My suggestion would be to throw them into solitary and lock the door and let them waste away to die. The behavior AI will be tweaked as this is st...

Couple things: 1) Check to make sure you're not in lockdown. There is a glitch where when you close the reports using the button (instead of hitting escape key) it registers as clicking on lockdown button so it seems to randomly "flick" on. Lockdown shuts down all doors so even staff can't...

The ai goes overboard with lights, building x2 or x3 as many as you really need. In addition once you start building walls they can interfere with light placement.

Given how easy it is to footprint lights I think removing the badly placed AI lights is more work then just doing it myself.

This is purely aesthetic as currently prisoners/staff can use anything from any angle. Have some funny shots of cooks walking through walls to get to the back of the serving tables.
