Today I found a solution. If I switch "Wait for vertical Refresh" to "Always Off", then the framerate looks OK.

Hello, I try running Defcon on Windows 7 64bit but its very slow (1-5 fps). I already updated the Video Card drivers to 10.6 (from 6/16/2010) and I also installed the newest directx update. My hardware: Core 2 Duo 6700 4GB RAM Ati Radeon 4870 X2 Asus Xonar D2X Windows 7 x64 with newest updates
