For people who have played the storyline, do you think there should be a bigger story? If so, what would be a good idea?

Did you ask anyone there? The Mac version of Uplink is published and maintained by Ambrosia Software, not Introversion. If you are having problems with the Mac version, then you need to ask about them on Ambrosias boards, not these boards. I wasn't suggesting that you would magically find your answ...
