In regards to programming with Lua - if it is possible, it would be limited almost exclusively to preparing tools in-between missions. And it certainly shouldn't be a requirement to get through things, as not everyone who is a gamer is capable of programming. Even hacking into a device that uses LUA...

Not enough known yet to say who is closer. It's entirely possible that the game design will veer from what thobal was suggesting. The reward isn't going to happen until the bloody game comes out, so there's plenty of time to wait and see who's closer!

I think my biggest worry in this is that there will be insufficient reason to explore the procedurally generated buildings.
