okay, my first impression was that it was a bit off topic, since it's more about mouse/cam behaviour, but I tried this and it DOES work for the mouse problem too!! I started a game, had the usual problem with the mouse, so I did the following steps as Ice_Dragon_ID explained shortly: - I hit the win...

uhh... I only got some music for a few seconds? Darude - out of Control? Nice touch! ;) I used Videolan for playing the video. Maybe I'm missing some obscure codec though.

excellent idea! I've been thinking about this as well. And I agree with the idea of holding right mouse button at the destination and then being able to change the direction. :)

seems that I have the latest nVidia drivers already. I can only go up to beta. Besides, it isn't a graphical glitch, but more like an input problem or calculation problem (or in-game setting/configuration). NOTE: I can recommend 7-zip :), though I'm not sure if WinRAR went completely free already

I totally agree! :D Maybe a split in game type would be handy. X kills in Assault or X in KotH. And then of course steps like: 1 , 2.5 , 5 and 10. Oh, and perhaps also some levels of the maps you played. All "easy" maps, "advanced" and "hard". Or just 1, 3, all... ? Jus...

Even though I use the Steam version, I do agree that it would be very cool to have non-Steam stats/achievements available.

As a side note, but related to the stats/achievements request, I'd like to see more Steam achievements, of course! :)

i updated my first post in the thread. The links are now to a zip and (as extra) a self extracting executable. You are probably trying to open the zip with built-in Windows extractor, which has a problem with 7-zip archives in zip format I believe. I'll check out the driver updates for my graphics c...

i did a clean reinstall in steam. I even removed the directory with preferences and all after deinstalling. I played a few games, and the tutorials again... and... tadaaa... it's back. I tried fraps, but it's not working for me now, so I can't show it on video right now. Any other tool like this I m...

okay, it's indeed weird. The same happened here. While fiddling with Fraps (which I didn't get completely to work) I could not recreate the problem! It's gone. I can play again, which is good, of course. However, it is very weird. Maybe, for me, the change of settings to lower quality and back did s...

I guess I can try that, yes. Funny though, I did try with lower gfx settings, liek 16 bit and quality to low for everything. Then it was actualyl playable. The problem only occured two or three times. Weird was then, when I switched back to full quality mode (32bit colours, 24bit Z and everything Hi...

In my case, I'm talking about single player maps and the FPS is certainly not low! The mouse points back to the initial position as far as I can tell. Besides, it's at the start of a game... not much going on... yet. :)

mouse 'reset' during game (solved: set processor affinity)

Hey ppl, currently, when I start a game and try to play, my mouse gets reset to the start 'direction' of the map, or so it seems. Really annoying, since it makes the game unplayable! :( The first levels I played were fine. But now this happens on every map it seems. It happens quite random. Sometime...
