I'm having the same problem, on Vista with an admin account. Every time I open the achievements menu it crashes out. Mostly it's the Genocide texture, but I think the first time might have been the Master Player texture.

Oh hell yeah, that's awesome! Lobby chat, that means no more changing your name repeatedly to talk to the other players.

One problem though, on the Steam version, the Achievements menu won't load, and crashes the game. It says something about not being able to load textures.

Oh thanks, but I just found out what was causing it. Darwinia was trying to save in "C://Users/[username]/Saved Games", but I had changed the default games folder to a different one. Just change the Games folder back to the default, and it should work. I wonder why it doesn't just save in ...

I'm having exactly the same problem. I'm running Vista and have Darwinia through Steam, however UAC is turned off. It won't save any of my profiles in the game, and when i quit it, everything is lost. It just takes me back to the Garden level. It's really bugging me now.
