I'm using the 1.54STEAM version. On startup the login screen appears, however:
The background image is displayed for less than a second
"New User" and "Exit" buttons are not displayed

I've been using this version of Uplink (via Steam) for a while. However ever since earlier this year I've been unable to get it to work anymore. Uplink.exe does seem to run (shows up in Task Manager), but then quickly dies. It gets up to ~16M before it dies. I tried updating my video driver, but tha...
