Nice choice of avatar, Torq, if I may say so. I've more "pop" songs to add to the list - Emily Haines - Doctor Blind (The Knives Don't Have Your Back, 2006) The lack of light, Hollow seas, Poison beaches... Rufus Wainwright - Hallelujah (It's on the Shrek soundtrack, although the version i...

I just think that having loud, militant/angry music takes away from the game's point - you're supposed to feel uncomfortable about annihilating that many people, not get "pumped" about it, thus why the in-game music is low-key and just eerie.

Miscellaneous Links, and a Lame Picture

I think it's worth posting a link to the largest Facebook group I could find, for those of you who actually use Facebook: http://vccs.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2210439098&ref=mf If that link doesn't work, it's because of Facebook's weird URL method. Just look up "DEFCON: Everybody Dies&quo...

Ivan Komarov: I have now had a chance to listen to both of your suggestion. I am surprised that I had not heard the St. Matthaus-Passion before -- it is wonderful! As to T.A.T.U., the music isn't exactly to my taste, but the lyrics are certainly appropriate, and are, honestly, quite eerie. Thank yo...

Honestly, rather than loud, booming "war themes", the musical style in-game - hauntingly beautiful and slow, much like in a movie where a hero dies, but action is still raging all around. Besides, this next one is what I'd be listening to if I knew the world was ending. Johann Sebastian Ba...

xander

Has anyone heard from him in a while...?

Defcon's soundtrack is amazing, but I want that song to be playing whilst I commence in some GTW.

Is the song that plays during this video from the in-game soundtrack, and if not, what is it?! I've been asking around forever, to no avail...
