There's a difference between the game being good and you liking it. Multiwinia is a good game. However I do believe that being a bit more casual oriented does mean it won't have a particularly large or permanent online following. Judging by the number of people playing the game, it isn't just me wh...

Because it isn't a very good game.

Too random, too quick, no trust-and-deception, doesn't reward getting good at it.

It's a shame after Defcon, which I still have binges of every now and again. IV should stick to cerebral games and leave ten-minute-random-event-generators well alone.

Surface fleets slow down when close to enemy units

I did a search but couldn't find anything on this. I was seeing how far a carrier could get before Defcon3 to, say, scout NA as SA or NA as Europe, and notice that the carrier slows down when it is close to enemy units. In fact, it slows down when it can't see units but they are there (at Defcon 5)....

I got to be honest here: I understand and even agree with most of your points. However having been in the beta since it started I can truthfully tell you this: Multiwinia was not designed for the "harcore" demographic. It's an instant fun game that everyone can enjoy in a 10 minute break....

Fog of War

I don't like Multiwinia. There is too much luck involved. Although a good player would win, say, a best of 15 games, a good player could never bank on winning any particular game. Yeah I'm sure I'm missing the point if i compare it to Defcon, but Defcon to me is a near perfect strategy game, and all...

ditto - Used to get whipped by the CPU, now I beat it most of the time. It was the same with Defcon, absolutely couldn't figure out how to beat the CPU to begin with, but after ten more games (and reading strategy on here!) the CPU absolutely never wins. Though I think the CPU in Multiwinia is bette...

Contents of Crates

Just trying to make a list of everything that crates can contain, and what they do. Please help correct and complete my list! Speed up - Speeds up the game (for everyone?) Used when box is opened. Slow down - Slows down the game (for everyone?). Used when box is opened. Shield - A selected area of M...

Yeah the armors through walls things is a ridiculous bug to let through to release - don't come telling me it is a feature.

My interesting ideas.

I expect this topic was talked about during beta testing, but can we have an option to make "scrolling" around the landscape faster? I'm constantly holding down shift as the default speed is too slow! The lack of sound volume control, as others have mentioned, is ridiculous. If the music I...

I'm not sure, I think I'm bored and drunk and the original post struck me as rather sad.

I'll sit down again now.

Wow. You managed to nuke a new player's fleet, (notice silo launches at 38 minutes in the screenies, and mixed fleets with subs).

Should I post a pic of me beating my 4 four old nephew in the 100 meter sprint?

Also not all that handy if you want to send two bombers from each carrier. I'd prefer to use the beam and employ the carriers' full complement of bombers.

It is so amusing to see how the tactics of this game have progressed. I think virtually all of us agree that Europe is, by a significant margin, the weakest terrirory in offensive and defensive capabilities, especially in a 1v1.

Rank should have nothing to do with it, that would just encourage to continue not paying for the game. Probably not possible: I think if they are identified as playing for more than three weeks/40 games as a demo player they should not be allowed to join at all, freeloaders...! It's only a tenner an...

what's the difference between "disconnected" and &

"dropped" when someone leaves a game?
Is it possible to tell if someone has left because their computer/connection went down, or whether they voluntarily left a game?
