I think I just had a nerdgasm. Another of my dream games comes true, after Uplink and Defcon. GET OUT OF MY MIND, YA BASTERDS!
Great news, can't wait. Oh, and is there any chance of us seeing some sort of vid of that demo you did, or something like it? We'd -love- to see this in motion.
I've seen it -- season two started a couple weeks ago. It's good, but not stellat. A fun show, with pretty decent production values, but I'm not sure if I'd buy it. If it's not too expensive, go right ahead, but it's no masterpiece.
I know this isn't the place (or time) for requests, but please, please, OH PLEASE remember us wide-desktop people (my resolution, for example, is 3840x800) when you finish the graphics engine.
I was able to make Darwinia work with it, but Uplink and Defcon were a no-go. Time to even the score
Hello, everyone. I was just wondering, which mods could you -not- live without? Which mods are so essential to your playing style/flavor that you absolutely, positively must have activated to play the game properly? I realise this is a matter of personal opinion, but I was just curious. Cheers, Slow.
Sounds to me like this gentleman is looking for Harpoon. Completely different beast, as it's much more centered on the aeronaval combat than on global thermonuclear war, but highly enjoyable none the less. And there's a Mac version, too.

I want a foam darwinian. I MUST have one. How about buying them in packs of 5 at the shop? That'd be cool! I clicked the "comment on this article" link to say this very same thing. I'd pay good money to get one of those. Either that, or a six-pack of foam Defcon nukes. They'd work wonders...
Good points, both of them. Admittedly, unlocking vertical pan/scroll might be easier than programming in the black bars, but either would solve the problem. Also, I wouldn't mind a full-screen map auto-resize that allowed you to keep zooming out, even past the map, filling the rest of the space with...
I have this same problem. As far as I can tell, it's a matter of zoom. Since the map has certain proportions, on dual screens at high resolutions, you would have to be able to zoom completely out to see north and south, and that would cause the map to replicate east and west. Fully zoomed out, you w...
