it doesnt' make sense to me why (when I'm *completely* zoomed in at 3200x1200) I can't scroll to the top of the map--that shouldn't violate your invariant of everything being drawn exactly once... Actually I hadn't thought of that...I agree, working vertical scroll would also be great :) Maybe we c...

Fully zoomed out, you wouls see, for example, America at both the extreme left and right. Which is something I'm not sure the graphics engine allows for. I think you pretty much nailed it. Well, maybe it would be possible to allow zooming out fully, but when we (while zooming out) reach the point, ...

Bug: Spectator with 0 spectators allowed
I just managed to join a game with 0/0 spectators as a spectator. I assume it's a bug!? The way it happened was, I connected to a 6 player games, with 5 slots already full. By the time I was connected, another 6th player had taken the last slot, so the game was full without me, but I did not get kic...

I guess my real point is... it seems there are more people willing to stick around and play than there are those who are too immature or inconsiderate to do so. I hope you are right ;) Will gather some more experiences... EDIT: Bah, another game played for about an hour, people started arguing abou...

An ingame friends system sounds like a nice addition to the game. It might not solve all problems, but still help a bit :) defconmatch.com looks (on first glance) like the playing communities I suggested. Although I still think it would ultimately help more, if there was an official ranking system, ...

Some wrong links on introversion.co.uk
On the introversion.co.uk page, when you hover the mouse over one of the smaller few pictures on the bottom (Uplink, Darwinia, Defcon, IGF 2006), a bigger picture displaying some more information about the one you selected comes up in the middle of the page on top of the bottom row of small ones. Yo...

Great game, but seriously discouraged from playing...
Hello all! I recently started playing Defcon and basically I think it's a great game and fun to play! But! I find myself more and more disappointed and frustrated, not wanting to play anymore...why? Well, the reason is there are lots of people disconnecting before the end of the game (or even shutti...

I would like to draw the developer's attention to the widescreen/dual-screen display bug described here: http://forums.introversion.co.uk/defcon/viewtopic.php?t=1776 (probably not hard to fix and would do a great deal for the people affected)! On top of that I suggest storing the authkey in the game...

Issue still exists as of V1.2, would really be nice to see this fixed. To clarifiy once again: When running resolutions (even on one monitor) which have a much larger width than height, we can't zoom out enough to see the entire map and dragging/moving the map vertically also doesn't work or only to...
