Player joining game notification
Similar to the nuke notification from the systray when defcon is minimized, a change in the systray icon when a player joins your game. This will allow you to do other things while waiting for others to join and be alerted so they don't sit there not knowing if anyone is active in the lobby. EDIT: A...

fish on a line
I like to show the active subs (sets of two) so the opponent switches to Anti-Sub mode... I then move in bombers or battleships to take out the (usually) defenseless carries.

First off, I don't like the fighter rush. I don't think it is nearly as effective as combining the use of fighters (to shoot down bombers), battleships (to shoot down fighters), and bombers (to take out naval units). That being said, if someone lays a fighter rush on you, use your battleships to ta...

Fighter Rush for Ocean Dominance
Hi all, I have adapted well in using this technique in keeping bombers and winning the ocean's battles. A couple of thoughts behind it. 1) What to do when your opponent uses same strategy? a) continue on with fighter rush? b) use your fighters for close air support and land to redeploy? 2) I use air...

Fun match ... unexpected results!! :)
Yesterday (22nd), I played in a 6 player FFA, I was playing as SA. Of course, Euro and Russia team up, Asia and Africa another team and NA/SA stick together. Things got heated in the South Atlantic, mainly tit for tat. things were quiet in the Pacific theater. Then my partner launches his bombers my...

I played in this game (KnG as Africa). Matt played great. What helped was an over committed alliance USSR (Jim) player and weak NA and SA players. And he mopped both up! It was a game that was action packed and came down to Matt's cool head. Matt also caught my last minute desperate bomber attack .....
