Trees defined by the map regenerate after they burned down. Infinitely often, AFAIK. And any suggestions on how best to deal with moving through trees which are within 'nade distance of the enemy (other that 'don't'...)? Do it fast? :) I'm a witness to that, because on The Holy Tree level, I placed...

New tree idea for mod: Burning tree

A burning tree, which would keep burning permanently (and won't get small), sounds quite good for me, on making a custom map as one of illuminations or barriers.
Some map ideas like 'Flame Site', are being thought about by me.

DEMO restriction despite my full game auth

My authentication status is Accepted, but I saw a DEMO restricted game:
image (sorry for linking to html; mine refuses hotlinks)

I tried to join this game but the 'BUY GAME' screen appeared.
Eventually the game became full and went gray-yellow.

Find 'language.dat' file and rename it to 'language.rar' and decompress it. You'll find them in data/textures/unicode/ or something.

Assault. I've played a couple, and they're of varying degrees of impossibility for the attackers. I've won as attackers, but only by luck of the crate draw. The games I've played seem so hinged on crates, even more so than other modes, that it becomes a game of waiting for something good in a box.....

Subversion_v2.0: works like ordinary subversion, but converted MWs will also have subversion.
