You're right. I was just arguing for the sake of arguing. I have no intention of making a mod or a sequel or anything of the sort. However, I don't think people should be so ready to reject a full game mod with a completely new story and new gameplay elements as nothing more than a simple font fix m...

A mod is something that requires the original game installed to be utilised, which is what absolutely eveyrthing made with the DevCD requires . Now please shui, drop it, you've made yourself out to be almost as bad as bloody beno. So talking on a forum is bad now? No one is forcing you to read what...

Are you familiar with Legend of Zelda; Majora's Mask? They reused the same game engine and many of the same models and textures from Legend of Zelda; Ocarina of Time, and released it as a completely new game. It sold over three million copies worldwide, and many reviewers even rated it higher than O...

Why wouldn't it be a sequel? It's chronologically set after a previous narrative set in the same universe. Sure, it may use the same code, but last I checked, the code isn't what makes a sequel. People don't go around calling Windows XP a sequel to Windows 98, although it does clearly use very diffe...

Uh, he didn't ask if Introversion was making an Uplink 2. He just asked if there would be one. Didn't a bunch of fans somewhere in Asia make a Starcraft 2 although Blizzard (who owns Starcraft) hasn't touched the idea for ten years? What's wrong with someone with the Dev CD making an Uplink 2? Edit:...

Cuisinart Blade
I'm wondering about the Cuisinart Blade story included on the game CD. Anyone know any background on it? I know there's a wikipedia user who claims to be the writer, but he also claims that he is the sole user of every other alias in the story, although the writer clearly refers to them as different...

In the year 2010, every possible way of securing a computer against online attack could be bypassed in seconds with the right software. So some brilliant sys admin came up with the idea of wiring a simple logic game that could be solved by a 20 year old computer in a matter of seconds into his secur...
