Tried everything - still fights constantly. Just can't seem to get the "recreation" bar up for my inmates. I was able to cure the recreation requirement by giving every prisoner a TV. Easier in the early times when you can just shove a bunch of TVs into the common cell, but you can ...

Yeah, just standard doors, not jail doors.

Yep, you can replicate this really easily and quickly on a new map:

Just build a fence between your deliveries (and/or garbage) and the road.

It appears that at least one delivery tile must touch the road otherwise the vehicles don't stop.

My rule is: keep adding refrigerators until one is empty.

It also *really* helps kitchen efficiency if you put the Storage room right outside the kitchen door.

[Bug] Metal detectors prevent doors from closing

If you build a layout like this: WWW W WW OD WW W WWW (W = wall, O = Metal Detector, D = Door) The door will never close; it seems to get caught up on the metal detector. I can fix it by putting a blank tile between the two, but any door right up against a detector causes a problem.

Sorry, a bit confusing there :) My layout is: WWW W WWW O D WWW W WWW Where W is a wall, O is the metal detector, and D is the door. Yes, the "tunnel" I built technically puts the door outside and not inside the foundation of the building, but it doesn't seem to have any negative effects.

Right now TVs are only watchable by one person, so make sure you have a lot (and Big TVs are bugged and shouldn't be used). I put 8 TVs, 4 workout benches, bookshelves, telephones, benches, and 12 beds in my initial holding cell. As long as I kept the prisoners fed and bathed, they never fight or ri...

Metal Detectors appear to work for me... Way less shivvings going on! I think if a prisoner walks through with a weapon, it auto-flags them as a "search" job. I put a metal detector on every door and I seemed to be having way fewer fights. Bins work; staff will occasionally put garbage bag...

I'm always up for a game, and I never drop! (a few times I've launched all my nukes 2 minutes in and hit fast forward and had to step away, but never quit out on purpose). My servers always start with the word "BLITZ!" (funny enough, not a war reference... It's the name of an IRC chatroom ...

A wall of shame would be cool; unfortunately, you can change your name freely to avoid a bad reputation. I couldn't even take a screenshot of my final brilliance because as soon as the host drops you're booted back to the main screen. I wish if the host dropped a cpu would just take over for everyon...

I think the most important in factor of "to stab or not to stab" is whether you are playing to come out on top, or playing for comraderie. I enjoy winning as much as the next guy, but you have to look at the metagame - if "Weasel" is backstabbing you every game, you aren't going ...

I have a bit of a confession - and you can all jot this down so you can remember it if you meet me in game. If I work something out before a game starts, I'll keep it. If you approach me in game... Odds are I'll go against you (especially if you're a neighbor). This is particularly true for games th...

Put it this way - my strategy usually involves launching every single fighter I have as soon as Defcon3 hits, for purposes of scouting. By the time endgame rolls around, I'm lucky if I have another 5 built up (longer games), but I usually only have 2-3. Since my average games seem to be 3 game-hours...

However scoutign a silo is very difficult with a fighter as it will get shot down before it gets to the silo unless the silo is distracted shooting nukes. Have the fighter hide behind a couple of bombers or a nuke :) The silos will go for those, first. xander or have your fighter hide behind four o...
