Authentication key recovery

Ok, so I reinstalled Defcon after ages, but can´t find the authentication key anywhere in the manual. So I try to log into my IV store account, but it says that my email-adress isn´t in the records. Now, I´ve been using the same email-adress for about 10 years, so I´m sure that´s the one I used for ...

same Problem

I also have this problem, although it doesn´t happen as often as for some people here. What´s really strange is that it happens without warning. No lag, no nothing. One minute the game runs fine (despite heavy action in a game where no shot was fired before defcon 1, and then everything exploded), t...

1. I tried it under my admin account to verify that it is user-rights related, and P really does save a screenie (and doesn´t crash the system in that case) 2. Most things requiring admin rights is a GOOD thing! It´s the programmers JOB to make it work with limited rights. 3. Yes, changing the acces...

Reproducible crash bug report

If you attempt to save a screenie by pressing P while running Defcon on a Win XP User-account (as opposed to administrator), the game crashes to desktop, every time. I haven´t written down the error message it gives, but can do so if you need it. [rant] Yeah, I know what many are going to say. Howev...

They shut down NORAD? I thought it also has civilian duties, like tracking space-junk in earths orbit because of the dangers it poses to sattelites and people doing a "space-walk". Btw, I always figured that Chyenne was, or at least became in the ´70, the same kind of misinformation then t...

You are probably right in that SOME inacessible servers have 2+ players from the same LAN on them, but I don´t think that this scenario can account for the sheer numbers of such servers...

Or maybe I´m underestimating how many people are playing on the same LAN, I don´t know...

I think you are missing something...

Several people in several topics have suggested that the connection issues are caused by misconfigured hosts. However, there is a problem with the theory: Many of the games I can´t connect to have more then 1 player connected already. If others are able to connect, then the host networking is workin...
