I think scouting is fine as it is. The fighter planes from bases get remade (albeit slowly) so it's ok you lose a few while trying to scout. Also, scouting isn't meant to be easy, if we had crafts like that available then we'd probably have a full view of the enemy territory within minutes in every ...

UT2004 also has a ton of other files not related to media. You can't make any comparison or get any conclusions from the file size as what's included in a .exe can vary a lot. For some games it's only a launcher for others it can have the whole game compiled within, including the media.

Depends, Nintendo confirmed that their "virtual console" service can be used for newly created games as well, not just roms of past systems' games. It remains to be seen what you have to go through to get a game published on there though...

Porting a game doesn't mean all of its features have to remain intact. I don't think anyone would mind if the game was ported on the DS and we simply didn't get fancy glow-lines and transparencies or whatever but instead had all that replaced with standard simplistic colored vector lines. I'm pretty sure it's been done by someone already. I don't remember specifics but I believe he could delete the sounds and then edit some sort of file that told the game what sound to play when to remove all the entries or something along those lines... I'm sure someone who knows exactly how it went...

And you don't run PSP games from the memory stick... Only homebrew runs like that, but I don't think IV would want to develop it as homebrew and not officially released title for the system... Especially if you sell it you probably have to pay royalties, purchase SDKs, etc. And they'd need a publish...

Well, introversion's latest news release on their website shows they want to enhance mod support so, great news for all mods that deserve gameplay changes rather than just graphical enhancements :)

Would be cool if you could use multiple ones @ the same time and have them randomly generated each time you "spawn" a fighter...

Now do bombers, make them as big as possible so they are easy to tell in the heat of battle :D
